We apologize the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

Work Around If You Do Not Want Welding

  • Go back to Protocase Designer.
  • Open up your enclosure if not all ready open.
  • Go to the Properties and uncheck "Has Seam Welds".
  • In the Menu Bar at the top of the window click "View" -> "View Notes"
  • Now add a note in saying "I do not want welding."
  • After this you can save your enclosure.


You can requote your file at this point. You will still a warning about welding but you can ignore it. The estimate will not be accurate at this point and our sales team will contact you about changes. There is a chance our EDS will review your design and recommend welding but only in extreme cases.
